MousseQuest v0.4 release for Patreon/Subscribestar supporters


It's finally here, version 0.4, the very squishy update.

i fixed a lot of dialogue issues, but i still recommend to safe often, as dialogic is still quite finicky and sometimes(even though rarely) refuses to send signals, locking you in the empty dialogue window)

patch notes:

additions:

- new story content, two questlines

- 3 new bosses

- 2 new h-scenes

- integration of the time management system (not important for now, will become important in the future)

- 5 new skills

- 6 new conditions

- gallery mode

- Mouseover explanations of conditions

- aoe attacks

- multi hit attacks

- Icons now show which location has an event currently going on

- start of combat settings now exist for certain fights (like starting combat with less health or conditions/buffs)

changes:

- poison: poison now reduces by 1 each turn. Poison now counteracts regen instead of bleed

- reworked boss AI (only affects the bosses with two actions)

- reworked card text to use icons instead of the condi names

- reworked outfit descriptions to use icons

- original armor and full armor now let you start combat with 3 strength and 3 sturdiness

- adjusted the visual display of conditions

fixes:

- added countless safety measures to avoid skipping inside dialogue trees (may cause other issues to older dialogue, haven't found any yet though)

- fixed condi cleanse being able to remove regen



Regarding the android version, people have been asking for:

I sadly didnt manage to get it to work for this update. A lot of very base level mechanics dont work like they should and probably need to be rewritten in order to work with touch controls. I an still planning on adding an android version in the future, but this update sadly didnt make it.
